In this shorter 3-week introductory wheel course, you’ll learn to make cups and bowls and glaze them to finish your first two ceramic pieces.
Our resident wheel master, Tiziana, will give you an introduction to wheel-throwing in this course. It’s best suited to beginners who are looking for a quick first introduction to working with clay on the potter’s wheel.
8th April: Preparing clay, centering, pulling, and throwing simple forms like cups
15th April: Trimming the two pieces that you selected to keep from last week
22nd April: We will skip this weekend (bisque firing)
29th April: Glazing,2nd firing
Items can be collected 2-3 weeks later
